I bought this TV a month ago. Set up was fairly easy. Only issue I have had is with getting it to work properly with Alexa. Neither LG support nor Amazon support were able to fix the issue. After playing with it for a while I was able to get some of the features working with Alexa but not all.

Wish I still had it. I really cant give it a fair review. Couldnt get it to pick up our local channels a wonderful lady from L G tried hard for hours even got our cable provider involved we determined that the tv was defective bought another difgerent tv and had the same issue finally got a technician from cable company out and found that our cable box was defective.

Beautiful TV Horrible Customer Service

Bought the TV 4 months ago everything worked fine and looked amazing about 2 weeks ago started having issues with it turning on streaming even just going into settings. Called Customer Service a few times kept going over same stuff. They insisted it was my internet despite the fact that every other device in my house including another TV had 0 issues. Called a service Tech out they sent him wrong systems board when he called to figure out what was wrong they told him not to bother its clearly the internet at issue. I will never be using or buying any LG product again. This is the first time Ive had to use customer service and Ive bought LG for a long time. My kitchen appliances my computer monitor TVs.. I used to love them.

Oh How TVs have changed

I must first say that this new LG TV is wonderful and the potential is something to look forward too. I place new in quotes as we purchased this TV as replacement for a 12 year old TV that we watched live TV via an antennae and VCR no cable nor streaming So turning on this unit to watch a local TV program is not the default mode of the new TV Although it is just one extra step - its just different. Potential is in quotes since this TV is basically a computer and once we learn how to understand how to open up this potential we will love it even more. This brings up our only complaint - there is no detailed printed manual A clarification is required - my wife and I just turned 80 There was one item about saving channels that I did not understand but an e-mail to LG got a quick response with a clear explanation

Expected more hassle - it wasnt a hassle at all

I expected to have nothing but trouble as its a smart tv and setting them up takes time. But the remote with angle sensing made entering passwords and IDs much quicker than I was ready for. And the remote went out and automatically learned how to operate the cable box without being told to do so by they time I got to that it was already finished configuring remote for the cable. By far the simplest setup Ive ever experienced with a TV. Good show

It has a great display for quality watching experience and great screen setting modes depending what you are watching. I am also impressed with the sound which also has multiple sound options based on your preference. The only thing I do t love is the mouse like pointer capability of the remote.
